![]() ![]() Colorful, great graphic design, just generally an interesting model akin to something like Ninjago City Gardens. This is purely a world building set not a good vs bad set, which is a nice change of pace for the theme. ![]() The City of Lanterns set departs from others in the theme in that it have no antagonists. I have no idea what it means but they feature in every set. ![]() In this new wave of sets there's some kind of uniting concept surrounding maps and gold rings with fire. The accompanying TV show which gives context to the sets was only just made available in the US and UK on September 9th through Amazon Prime. The latest wave's largest set features a mini-modular concept that clearly takes inspiration from LEGO Ninjago's Cityscape sets. The theme has been very well received by the LEGO community, offering some high imagination sets, interesting techniques, and stunning visuals. The Monkie Kid theme started out strong, brought us a fantastic second year and if the box art is anything to go by is only getting stronger in year three. ![]()
